Full Stack Developer Whippany, NJ As a Barclays Full Stack Developer, you will be reporting to Digital Engineering Lead for the US Consumer Market being built out of Whippany location. Partnering closely with the business product partners, you will play a critical role to developing the Bank Digital channels capabilities. You will also have an equally important focus on developing a platform upon which the engineering teams can build product at an accelerated rate and deliver features to our customers on a regular basis. What will you be doing? * Understanding of architecture, designing across all systems, and working proficiency in developmental toolsets * Collaborating with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals * Designing, developing, and coding scripts for automation testing, experience developing scripts using Selenium and Java * Designing and building infrastructure for high-volume web applications * Developing high-volume web applications using Java 1.8 / JEE Framework * Designing and building of high Availability enterprise web applications leveraging Java J2EE, JavaScript (Angular, React JS), RESTful Web Services, JMS, SOA, Spring Boot etc. What we're looking for: * Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience * Experience managing and tracking work using management tools like JIRA and following and promoting Agile practices like SCRUM and BDD * 5+ years banking industry an advantage Skills that will help you in the role: * Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills coupled with a high work ethic * Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages such as Java * Deep understanding of network & security concepts - TCP/IP, DMZ, DNS, Firewalls, HSM's & Load Balancers * Good understanding in Virtulization, Containers & Cloud technologies (VMWare, Openshift, AWS) Where will you be working?
