Duties: Evaluates complex user requests, projects, and clarifies objectives and functional requirements for new or modified computer programs. Improves/sustains embedded system software using specialized domain knowledge and developed business expertise. Conducts and prepares feasibility studies for new applications and/or existing ones and makes decisions within general parameters under little supervision. Building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing. Developing code for quality automation and ensuring extensive unit test coverage of the code. Building, customizing, deploying, and managing the environment/ test automation frameworks. Checking for product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance. Participating in design and architectural discussions. Sign off on promoting new code through our deployment pipeline. Preparing Test Reports. Perform testing of core trading application. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX.

Salary: $148,630 $195,200 per year

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field. Position requires 4 years of related experience, which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Designing and developing test automation for functional, integration, regression, and usability testing (JAVA and JavaScript) to automate the applications (TestNG, Junit, Maven, Gradle, Rest Assure, Cucumber and Selenium Web driver); Developing, managing, and maintaining automation framework that can retain reusable automation test cases and test data; Managing and configuring continuous integration and continuous deployment processed for Smoke and Regression test execution; Creating powerful POM (Page Object Model) optimized through data driven Front End, reusable methods, Generic method & Page Factory; Executing complex SQL to ensure data is persisted correctly in database; Developing supporting test plans that incorporated automated testing tools; and Providing direct feedback and guidance on test plan and test case reviews.
