We are currently seeking a Program Manager to support the growth and daily operations of our international programs team. The team manages the firm's international development portfolio in disaster mitigation, response and reconstruction. Through these projects, we work with national and local host-governments, donors and key actors in the international development industry.

What You Will Be Doing

Project Management and Oversight:

-Ensuring the quality and timely delivery of programs in various regions of the world

-Creating, maintaining and updating work plans and project financial documents

-Communicating frequently, proactively and openly on programming and implementation status, including raising and troubleshooting challenges

-Understand and effectively manage client, host government and partner expectations

Leadership and Program Development:

-Developing project management and operational processes and systems

-Support the firm's business development and proposal writing efforts by maintaining relationships with international donors and clients, and providing input into proposals

-Coordinating, liaising and effectively engaging a broad array of high-level project stakeholders

What You Need for this Position

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor or preferably an advanced degree in project/construction management, engineering or a related technical field, applicants with a different education background may also be considered, if they have strong project management experience in post-disaster environments or the disaster management field

-At least 10 years' work experience; demonstrated ability to effectively execute high-level, large-scale and complex projects across multiple locations with remote supervision

-Demonstrated technical depth in the field of disaster risk reduction and disaster risk management; knowledge of earthquake/structural engineering desirable

-Strong experience working directly with national and local host-governments, clients and/or key actors in the international development industry or on humanitarian assistance programming is a plus

-This position requires heavy international travel

-Fluent in English; ability to speak other languages (Spanish, Japanese, etc.) a plus
