The Building People Assistant Construction Project Manager/Project Engineer (TS Cleared) in Washington, District Of Columbia
The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Assistant Construction Project Manager/Project Engineer with a Interior Design Specialty and active Top Secret Clearance for a facilities engineering program to support a federal Agency. The general responsibilities of the Assistant Construction Project Manager/Project Engineer are as follows, to include but not limited to:
Provide on-site construction management support during the design, mobilization, construction, and commissioning.
Assist the Project Manager and/or Construction Project Manager in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of the project.
Monitor all phases of construction including design, compliance, construction, quality control and budget management.
Monitor the submission and response to all submittals and RFI’s. Coordination the Government’s response when needed.
Assist in the coordination of various events in the planning and execution of the work.
Participate in coordinating the work on the project with other projects and activities happening in the building at the same time.
Assist with information management, maintain, and update daily status logs and contribute to progress reports produced for management.
Coordinate and assist in the development of presentations for upper management and status report updates.
Review schedules and align project work plan and deadlines with requirements.
Monitors on-site processes, procedures, and systems for compliance with construction drawings, security requirements, escorts requirements and code compliance.
Assist the Project Manager in tracking progress of project against goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Facilitate meetings regarding project matters.
Work closely with other functional areas of the Bureau, other project contractors, internal team members, external collaborators, and suppliers.
Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all contractual requirements, design drawings, and project specifications that include but are not limited to: On-site Project Management,
Project Controls, Contractor Billings, weekly meetings, meeting minutes and
documentation, project monthly report generation, change management reports, contract administration, punch-list management, warranty review and closeout documents.
