[This position is responsible to develop and document manufacturing processes and aid the design of the tooling required to run them from concept to full production. This position is also responsible for participating in the continuous improvement needs of the plants processes.

• Oversee design work with outside contractors
• Design foundry tooling
• Design core assembly fixtures, unloader fixtures, filing fixture
• Design gages - in-process foundry gages
• Design processing fixtures
• Design CAE Models for simulation
• Manage model database
• Document foundry tooling models, fixtures, foundry gages
• Project manager of equipment and tooling
• Program management of new products
• Continuous improvement
• And any additional duties that may be assigned by Management.

[EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}

• BS degree in Engineering related field, or BA and 5 years relevant work experience, or 10+ years work experience.
• Experience with 2D and 3D modeling software. Solidworks preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design.
