We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer Tester for a Full-Time Remote position.

Job Summary:

As a Web Development Tester at NuAxis Innovations, you will play a critical role in our development process. You will work closely with our development and product teams to identify, report, and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues in our web applications. Your expertise in both manual and automated testing will be essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts.

  • Conduct manual testing when automation is not feasible, including but not limited to exploratory, smoke, regression, and ad-hoc testing.

  • Create and execute test plans.

  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.

  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.

  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution.

  • Analyze the results of both manual and automated tests.

  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

  • Participate in design and specification reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance.

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.

  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.

  • Solid understanding of SQL and scripting.

  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Attention to detail, analytical mind, and problem-solving aptitude.

  • Strong organizational skills.

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information systems, engineering, business or other related scientific or technical discipline

  • With at least 4 years of specialized experience
