As a .NET Developer Lead you will be responsible for coding and modifying websites and web applications, from layout to function and according to our client's specifications.
Job Description
We are looking for a .NET Developer Lead . This position will be a full-time and remote long-term contract opportunity .
Due to our end client, candidates must be authorized to work in the US without a need for sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.
What You’ll Do
Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages, primarily C#
Test and deploy applications and systems
Revise, update, refactor, and debug code
Improve existing software
Work closely with the development team to optimize the functionality and responsiveness of applications
Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
Develop client displays and user interfaces Assist software personnel in handling project-related work and other requirements
Coordinate with other software professionals and developers
What You'll Need
Required
6+ years of experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer
Familiarity with the .NET framework and SQL Server
Knowledge in C#, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Oracle DB, YAML Pipelines (Code Deployment), Git Repos, Dependency Injection, Automated Unit Testing, CI/CD Practices
ADO experience required
PowerShell experience required
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Strong attention to detail Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs
Ability to work independently and in team settings
Preferred
- Mainframe knowledge is a huge plus
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
