Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Pediatric Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla, NY. This Independent Specialty Rehab Hospital is well known for providing high quality and complex pediatric medical care to children from birth to 18 years. Our facility comprises a Traumatic Brain Injury unit, an Infant unit, a Long Term Care Unit, an Intensive Feeding program and attached Day Hospital and School. This is a great opportunity for an RD with an interest in management - prior management experience not required!

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will:

• provide inpatient clinical nutrition care for infant, toddler and adolescent patients;

• support patients with a wide range of pediatric conditions including but not limited to metabolic disorders, intestinal failure, BPD, and cardiovascular disease;

• work closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, SLPs, OTs, PTs and feeding therapists, providing education as needed;

• Serve as an active member of the food service management team; and

• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

[Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required]

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire

• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
