Aston Carter Senior Project Manager in Thousand Oaks, California

Description: *This role will be aligned to HQ-Thousand Oaks USTO. The EW will be working remotely 8-5 AM Pacific Time Mon-Friday. The role will have international meetings the EW will be required to occasionally participate in with the UK in the case of having to support international time zone meetings the EW can be on a flexible schedule as those meetings dictate. *Role will be workshop dependent and this will impact the EW being required to come onsite. We are looking candidates at a minimum of a driving range of Thousand Oaks. *Some qualities that stand out to the hiring manager on resumes is: Looking for candidates who can be viewed as the top end of the experience level. Ideally candidates who have strong project management experience as well as product development experience Have skills such as lean six sigma. Looking for candidates who are the stronger the better can be a hands off leader candidates who have familiarity with Pharma Clinical Trials. *Qualities an ideal candidate possess that will work well with the current team: Professionalism clarity work ethic and ability to do the right thing ethics. ***The hiring manager needs a candidate with the ability to be able to be put in front of executive directors and have the ability to present themselves well. * 6 years of project management experience - Pharma familiar with Deviation CAPA processes. Ability to dive into solutions. * Bachelors Degree -minimum. Manages one or more high-level complex non-technical projects within the constraints of scope quality time and cost to deliver specified requirements. Projects may be strategic in nature. Responsibilities may include resource allocation and all phases of development life cycle i.e. feasibility study requirements analysis ROI business plan design testing and implementation planning. Regularly interacts with management. Coordinates and directs the activities of project team members. May be responsible for cross-functional teams. Ensures all project requirements and/or objectives are documented. May obtain and manage external resources required for project completion. Skills: expertise in running medium to large scale projects excellent understanding of project management processes and procedures experience with project management and analyst methodologies and best practices strong analytical skills business process development best practices change management strong MS Project MS Word Visio MS PowerPoint MS Excel and Smartsheet skills understanding of systems for sharing and collaboration excellent communication skills to work with cross-program resources and with all levels of management.
