    Director of Environmental Services

    Essential Job Duties:

  • Develop strategies for cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control in the hospital.

  • Manage daily operations, including staffing and budgeting.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations like OSHA, EPA, and Joint Commission.

  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain a safe environment.

  • Implement quality assurance programs for improvement.

  • Lead and train environmental services staff.

  • Maintain relationships with vendors for supplies.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

  • Prepare reports for hospital leadership and regulatory agencies.

  • Participate in committees for infection control and safety.

    Qualifications:

  • Four years college degree is required.

  • Three to five (3-5) years of hospital experience in which administrative, supervisory, and teaching ability have been successfully demonstrated.
