This highly-visible position puts you at the center of a key organization developing, supporting, marketing, and selling Alexa. This is a great opportunity for a Principal TPM reporting directly to the VP of the Alexa, Customers, & Technology (ACT) organization. ACT is a diverse team of Engineering, Science, Business, Marketing, and Sales support. Our name ACT, represents our Bias for Action and what we do:

As the TPM of Operations for ACT, you will be the force multiplier driving the important mechanisms that run our org. This includes the annual goal-planning with ongoing reviews, the annual Operating Plan for the organization, and controllership for critical business drivers including headcount & AWS cloud costs. You will audit other ongoing mechanisms/process, then recommend & help implement best practices that are leveraged across the entire organization. You will also assist leadership in communicating strategy & business updates through regular All-Org meetings and other means of communication.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of engineering experience

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a Senior Engineering Manager, helping drive roadmap strategy & definition, and managing budget and expenses

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
