A Manufacturing Composites Engineer job with our client in Springfield, MA is now accepting applications. This is a direct hire job opportunity. To be considered, you will need a B.S. Degree in an Engineering discipline and 2+ years of previous experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role along with composites bonding experience. In this role, you will be responsibilities for designing tools, writing procedures, and preparing estimates for new business.

Manufacturing Composites Engineer Job Responsibilities:

• Read and fully understand engineering drawings

• Create and red-line procedures and travelers

• Design tools as needed

• Provide management with accurate, well organized Basis of Estimates including cost of all parts and raw materials, estimate of internal labor, and estimate of outside processes

• Provide technical assistance throughout the manufacturing process

Manufacturing Composites Engineer Job Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in an Engineering discipline

• 2 - 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer

• Familiar with CATIA, SolidWorks, other CAD/CAM systems

• Solid understanding of basic material science of composite materials and bonding REQUIRED

• Basic knowledge of EPICOR or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and databases

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)

• Due to ITAR requirements, candidate MUST be a US Citizen or permanent resident
