Description The Mortgage Product Specialist is a member of the Home Loan Division (HLD) Delivery Team and supports various initiatives related to the support, maintenance, and enhancement of the division's technology products. The Product Specialist will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, combining knowledge of the mortgage loan origination process and technology to provide production support, assist in deploying vendor software updates, plan and execute software functional testing, and design software configuration to meet the needs of the division. Essential Functions: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, combining knowledge of the mortgage loan origination process and technology products in use within the HLD. Assist in planning, executing, and managing functional and user acceptance testing efforts related to the HLD mortgage origination technology. Maintain an understanding of the functional and technical components of the HLD mortgage origination technology. Work with peers across the HLD business line to drive testing efforts and incorporate business users in the testing process. Collaborate across the HLD and with other divisions and teams as needed to meet division demands. Support HLD internal business processes and respond to user inquiries regarding system usage and functionality. Manage the production support process to ensure necessary information is documented in support tickets, preliminary triage is performed, steps taken for resolution are adequately documented, and escalations to internal team members and the vendor are made when appropriate. Perform vendor support functions such as creating and monitoring vendor tickets and escalations. Perform compliance and risk management duties as required or assigned. Aide in translating vendor release documentation to ensure easy consumption of change information by end users and those responsible for testing and training on the HLD mortgage origination technology. Regular, reliable attendance. Qualifications: Working knowledge of the Dark Matter Empower Mortgage Loan Origination System. Experience and knowledge of the mortgage origination loan lifecycle. Detail oriented mindset with a high level of organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple efforts simultaneously. Experience and knowledge of software as a service (SaaS) release process, and ability to translate technical release information to business users. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative. Ability to work both independently and with others. High degree of PC based technical skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with and work effectively with diverse groups of people at various levels both inside and outside the division. Ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service to clients in a deadline driven environment. Compensation: $46,680 - $70,019 The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, WA. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
