Boswell Engineering is seeking a Resident Engineer with experience on highway and bridge projects for immediate assignment on NJ Turnpike Authority and/or NJDOT projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site inspection of various heavy highway and/or bridge rehabilitation/replacement, paving projects, and drainage projects

• Daily inspection on complex, large, and/or diverse projects in order to ensure contractors operations comply with project plans, specifications, and contract documents

• Complete daily Resident Engineer reports

• Prepare As-built drawings and assemble data for Field Engineer to utilize when making changes to the project

• Assure general compliance with NJ Turnpike Authority and NJDOT standards and specifications

• Combination of both office and field duties

• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, current NJ Professional Engineer License a plus

• Ten (10+) years of experience as a Resident Engineer on bridges and highway projects

• Valid NICET Certification IV or P.E. is required

• Ability to read and understand plans/specifications and properly document collected data

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs

• NJ Turnpike Authority experience is preferred

• Night and/or weekend work may be required and must be reliable and flexible

• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
