We are seeking a Frontend Engineer to join an innovative team that builds data preparation and data management features for QuickSight. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical and leadership experience to drive system design and architecture decisions that impact long term vision. These decisions are crucial in how the customers around the world can make raw data from any source(s) ready for analysis in the easiest and fastest way.

Amazon QuickSight power data-driven organizations with unified business intelligence (BI) at hyperscale. With QuickSight, all users can meet varying analytic needs from the same source of truth through modern interactive dashboards, paginated reports, embedded analytics, and natural language queries.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience

• 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience

• Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST

• Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
