Business Unit Introduction - [HM or Recruiter to select the correct BU and delete the rest] New Glenn: This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-liftorbital launch vehicle capable ofroutinelycarrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar,and beyond.Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designedfrom the beginningto be human-capable. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers (use as appropriate), you will lead the development of the architectures and approaches for automating the design, test, verification, and validation of our launch vehicle control applications. This a hands-on development role, and you'll be building these tools and deploying them to eliminate our design, analysis, and verification bottlenecks to improve our engineering efficiency. Working closely with our design teams these initiatives will improve the team's throughput and maintain the high quality of our control applications. To innovate process improvements in our model-based design framework, you may also be assigned responsibility for some autonomous control applications and provide support to test teams to assist in gaining insight and knowledge into how our development framework should evolve. In this role you will report directly to the Director of our Autonomy Architecture team. Proven experience developing software applications in a team environment B.S. or higher in Aerospace Engineering or related engineering field (M.S. preferred) Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
