Based in the heart of Seattle we are seeking someone with 4-10 years of years of Construction Law experience. Our decades of experience give us the superior knowledge need to handle the niche area of Construction litigation allowing us to resolve the most difficult disputes. With over $100 million in construction claims handled we have had the pleasure of working on the following project types:
-Commercial Retail/Shopping Centers

What You Will Be Doing
Work load expected to be approximately 20-25 hours per week. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes. Review and conduct research into legislation, cases and legal precedents to the extent required to address contract-specific or other matters. Act in an advisory capacity making recommendations that may have an important bearing on the conduct of the client's business. This is a good opportunity for a person looking to get back into the workforce, to work on a somewhat flexible schedule, or to reduce workload.

What You Need for this Position
At Least 4-10 Years of experience and knowledge of:
Previous experience in construction law (prosecuting construction defect claims, mechanics lien claims, delay/impact claims, course of construction disputes).
Deposition, discovery, and law and motion experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build rapport with clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
