Job Summary

As the AVP, Product Manager, Deposit Products, you will take ownership of both new and existing solutions, including Business and Consumer deposit products, packages, sweeps, debit cards, and more. You will be responsible for supporting and executing product strategies, collaborating closely with business and technology partners, and managing key vendor relationships. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in enhancing core deposit capabilities and driving the development of innovative solutions aligned with our broader product vision.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute on the product strategy and roadmap for new and existing business and consumer deposit products, develop segment specific product packages, and provide product support to sales and our branch network.

  • Evaluate the current product set to determine areas for future investment and growth opportunities.

  • Implement and oversee risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with deposit products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and monitoring changes in regulations to maintain product compliance.

  • Develop policies, procedures, and process maps for deposit products, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance, reporting regularly to management and stakeholders to track progress and drive decision-making.

  • Support and execute deposit interest rate changes and communicate to team members.

  • Drive adoption and usage of debit cards tied to deposit products and maintain inventory.

  • Maintain and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual product certifications and controls.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the business and consumer deposit product space.

  • Utilize data, customer feedback, and market research to enhance products, reduce user friction, and improve the client experience.

  • Function as a subject matter expert for your products providing training and guidance to sales and client-facing teams.

  • Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Client Service, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Sales to improve processes and procedures.

  • Manage vendors and strategic partnerships related to our solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Develop and maintain product P&L to help manage the financial performance of assigned products.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of deposit accounts, packages, debit cards, sweeps, and knowledge of regulatory requirements.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies, driving growth and profitability.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to make informed decisions.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Information Program (CIP), Right to Financial Privacy Act (RFPA, state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in product management within the financial services industry, with a focus on business and consumer deposit products or relevant experience.

Salary Range : $101,212.80- 130,000.00 USD; Final salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with geographic/market data.
