Description:

University in the Twin Cities is seeking a landscaper to join their maintenance department. This will be year-round, with varying job duties depending on the time of year.

-Hardscapes, lawn care, turf, plant and tree maintenance

-Repair and maintain campus roads, parking lots and sidewalks

-In the springtime, more focus on weeding and watering plants, mulching and planting

-In the wintertime, more focus on ice and snow removal, use shovels and equipment as needed

-Perform up to NCAA standards, maintain outdoor facilities on athletic fields and tracks

-Assist with irrigation system maintenance and installations

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Higher education in horticulture, turf OR 3+ years of relevant experience in landscape or commercial grounds work

Valid drivers license, high school diploma

Able to obtain MN Pesticide License within 90 days

MNLA Certification (Preferred)
