Telecommunications Superintendent - AT&T Legacy Guru

Location: Sacramento, CA

Department: Network Operations

Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 Annually.

Type: W2 Telecommunications Superintendent.

Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Telecommunications Superintendent who thrives in the intricate world of AT&T Legacy S. A true "AT&T whisperer," you'll combine your deep technical expertise with project management prowess, installer savvy, and paperwork mastery to ensure seamless customer experiences and network success. The ideal candidate will have long standing relationships inside and out of AT&T, allowing them to bring to the projects the various team members they will need at different times. You will have full back office support, an engineer assigned to your team, and be expected to operate your projects with a high level of autonomy. Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of AT&T Legacy S and troubleshooting complex issues and providing effective solutions.

  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements, particularly relevant to AT&T Legacy systems and regulations.

  • Project Management:

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

  • Develop and implement project plans, track progress, and mitigate risks, adapting to the ever-evolving AT&T ecosystem.

  • Field Operations:

  • Oversee the hiring and management of qualified installers, ensuring they understand and adhere to AT&T's specific requirements and procedures.

  • Conduct thorough site surveys, gathering accurate data and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.

  • AT&T Savvy:

  • Navigate the labyrinth of AT&T procedures and paperwork with confidence, ensuring projects comply with all necessary regulations and guidelines.

  • Build strong relationships with AT&T representatives, advocating for efficient resolution of customer issues and service disruptions.

  • Leadership and Communication:

  • Motivate and guide a team of technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Clearly communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

     

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a telecommunications environment, with at least 7 years demonstrating deep expertise in AT&T Legacy S.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and completing complex projects within budget and on time.

  • Experience hiring, training, and managing field technicians, preferably within the AT&T installation environment.

  • Intimate understanding of AT&T's processes, procedures, and culture, with the ability to effectively navigate internal systems and paperwork requirements.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
