Vestis Services Sr Analyst, Tax Income in Roswell, Georgia

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and organize information to support preparation and reporting of the tax provision for a multi-national public company, and coordinate with third-party providers

  • Prepare and maintain detailed work papers for OneSource Tax Provision

  • Assist with tax account reconciliations and tax provision journal entries

  • Prepare necessary information for financial statement disclosures

  • Support Federal, State, and international tax planning strategies and special projects through research and preparation of information

  • Prepare supporting information for Federal, State, and international income tax returns, extensions, and estimates

  • Review income tax returns prepared by third-party providers

  • Research, respond, and document income tax notices timely

  • Assist with managing income tax audits and gather required supporting documentation

  • Analyze and improve current processes to obtain efficiencies

Requirements:

  • 3+ years corporate income tax experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • ASC 740 (accounting for income tax) experience

  • OneSource Tax Provision and Workpapers experience

  • Self-motivated, team player/collaborative

  • Highly organized with excellent project management and communication skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

  • Ability to establish priorities of work assignments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA and/or Master’s Degree

  • Public accounting and/or industry experience in a public company environment

  • Alteryx and Power BI (or similar tools) experience
