What You Will Be Doing
Producing highly accurate technical drawings for internal and outsourced manufacturing/assembly
Generating drawings for prototypes and release of all fabricated parts for production in 3D
Modifying designs and working with manufacturing to resolve defect issues
Evaluating final product's overall performance, reliability and safety
What You Need for this Position
At least 3 years of relevant design/manufacturing experience and:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering HIGHLY PREFERRED
Proficiency with 3D engineering design tools (i.e. AutoCAD, Inventor and/or Solid Works)
Experience in Metal Fabrication
Adequate knowledge of engineering standard practices
Ability to communicate technical knowledge in layman's terms
Excellent prioritizing and deadline management skills
Knowledge of injection molding, vacuum forming, welding and electrical is a PLUS
