What You Will Be Doing
Work closely with electrical engineering, electrical assembly, mechanical assembly and service in the fulfillment of duties.
Work to develop creativity and motivation of the department and others.
Share in achieving company goals.
Assist assembly with problems and report findings and suggestions back to assembly lead persons or Manufacturing Manager.
Assist with machine runoffs and coordinate with the other areas when necessary.
Assure proper documentation is completed on projects.
Insure company quality standards are being met in area of responsibility.
Use electrical knowledge to troubleshoot any wiring errors on machine.
Compute and enter necessary parameters into control for proper integration of machine and control.
Debug interface software and make edits as necessary.
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot/diagnose problems on the machine.
Assist in setting all machine switches for proper operation (limit, float, pressure, etc.).
Develop necessary program and/or parameters to test all capabilities of machine, including test cut(s) of workplace.
Supervise machine/control during customer run-off.
Plan training materials and perform training, both in house and in the field, to customer on machine operation.
Insure that updates to all documentation of changes made during debug and returns to Engineering Department.
Responsible for documenting startup and record all findings.
Assist with the development of technical documentation as needed for machine manuals. (operation, programming, maintenance, etc.)
Assist in providing support for field service department.
NOTE: Quality of the output will be the responsibility of the individual and will be responsible to comply with safety rules and regulations at company.
