Honeywell Connected Enterprise is looking for an experienced, energetic, and innovative Advanced Software Engineer for developing and maintaining innovative Cloud based software applications.

Responsibility:

• Be a part of Honeywell’s world class team of software engineers as we advance business position as a market leader in software forming the foundation of the Internet of Things

• Participate in implementation of next generation software technology and SaaS platform.

• Collaborate with a globally distributed engineering team.

• Has a strong background of end-to-end software development

• Has excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

• Is a critical thinker that challenges assumptions and seeks innovative ideas

This is a Hybrid position in Richmond, VA. Must be a US Citizen or Green card holder.

YOU MUST HAVE

• At least 5 Years of current Java development experience (Should currently be active Java developer historical Java development experience will not help)

• SpringBoot and Microservice firsthand experience in API development

• Basic SQL skills - Ability to write SQL queries and understand debug stored procedures.

• Microsoft Azure administration and app hosting experience

• Java Script and REACT JS

WE VALUE

• Microsoft Azure Certification

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

• Java development experience using Spring Framework and Hibernate ORM

• Familiar with GitHub JIRA, Kubernetes

• Experience with Test Driven Design
