Hardcore LLC Construction Project Manager in Richmond Hill, Georgia

Hardcore is seeking a qualified individual responsible for providing overall administrative and technical management on construction project sites. Responsibilities will include bid preparation, scheduling, and on-site management. This position will work closely with Experienced Concrete Cutter and field roles to accomplish the work safely, on time, and on budget.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with estimating team to determine costs of work, assemble competitive analysis, and determine workforce and equipment needs to complete the work safely and successfully.
  • Prepare estimates and work plans with detailed review of proposal specifications, drawings, takeoff information, contracting.
  • Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is completed in accordance with budget and schedule by monitoring construction schedules, milestones, job progress and completion. Includes interfacing with customer representatives, and other contractors,
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, concrete services)
  • Directly Supervise craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract.
  • Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending service methods and equipment, as required.
  • Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and change orders resources required to successfully complete project.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferred Four-year Construction Management, or Construction Engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years construction management, estimating, and/or craft supervision experience in similar trades or construction environment
  • Experience with demolition work required, GPR scanning, concrete cutting and core drilling services.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills essential
  • Ability to track actual costs and compare against established budget.
  • Ability to problem solve and react quickly to changes.
  • Computer/Office Machines - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, DSM
  • English - proficient in business writing and verbal communication
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required when duties require use of motor vehicle.

Strong Financial Aptitude

Ability to manage projects on a day-to-day basis including but not limited to RFIs, change orders, and /or scope deviation.
