Every day is an adventure, and an opportunity for personal and professional growth.The Senior Manager, Sustainability Strategic Investments will play a critical and highly visible role to support this transformation within the Global Sustainability Office, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Strategic Investments. Specifically, your role will support the strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and management of multiple programs and pilots to drive integration of pep+ enterprise wide through investments and external partnerships. This individual will have the chance to find, scope, and develop financing solutions for execution of decarbonization and circular economies strategies. The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about sustainability, an out-of-the-box thinker, possesses strong financial acumen and is an exceptional collaborator with demonstrated success delivering and executing financing solutions (e.g., blended finance, direct investments). They will need to have an ability to understand the system that creates the challenges we see today and understand how diverse coalitions and actions can shift that system to a better state. They will need to translate internal and external language about priorities into jointly shared program goals that can be moved towards concrete action. The Senior Manager will work with PepsiCo internal teams focused on decarbonization and circular economy outcomes across multiple regions and rolls.* Engage internal PepsiCo teams to understand their pep+ priorities, resources, challenges, and commitment to innovative solutions, which forms the foundation for any successful partnership with external organizations.* Play a central role in expanding the portfolio of PepsiCo leadership by developing and deepening relationships with international development donor agencies, customers, suppliers, commercial entities, finance institutions and others.* Assist in the development of PepsiCo’s pep+ investment strategy through matching sustainability roadmaps and business needs, focusing on business case development for breakthrough projects and financing models that can scale across the organization* Review CAPEX submissions and write executive summary to support CSO approvals for monthly Corporate CAPEX Committee meetings, influencing Sector teams to optimize pep+ investment as necessary.* Drive adoption/integration of Strategic Investments tools (Marginal Abatement Cost Curves) to help internal teams build insight and analytics capabilities to drive pep+ investment.* Support Corporate functions and Sector/Business unit teams with ad hoc investment evaluation as needed.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: * Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, sustainability, international development, or related fields* 7+ years of work experience in finance, management consulting, or related fields preferably with experience in project finance and/or international development donors and implementors/consultants* Proven track record of successfully managing multiple investments, project financing projects, or strategy implementation projects* 5+ years of experience working with private sector companiesPreferred Qualifications: * Demonstrated experience at organizational learning, capability building and leading through influence* Experience with (development) finance and innovative financial models, particularly ones that incentivize decarbonization and/or circular economy practices that accelerate the pep+ agenda* Driven self-starter that is unafraid of ambiguity or a dynamic environment* Excellent collaboration & influencing skills that can navigate a cross-functional, cross-geographical matrix to champion a transformation agenda* Is excited about driving systemic change in a global organization but is fiercely entrepreneurial* Passionate about the intersection of finance and impact* Availability and willingness to travel (up to 15%)Compensation and Benefits* The expected compensation range for this position is between $114,700 - $192,100 based on a full-time schedule.* Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.* Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.* Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.* In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.EEO StatementAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Female / Minority / Disability / Protected Veteran / Sexual Orientation / Gender IdentityIf you'd like more information about your EEO rights as an applicant under the law, please download the available EEO is the Law & EEO is the Law Supplement documents.
