OverviewGlobal Business Services (GBS) Control North America is a multi-location center of excellence delivering financial services and capabilities for North America in partnership with our managed services providers. Services are provided to all PepsiCo divisions in the US and Canada.PepsiCo Accounts Payable team is within the Payment Services Team of GBS Control. Accounts Payable is a passionate group of experts dedicated to providing quality service, leadership and maintaining our Company’s high customer satisfaction.This Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt (GRIR) Tower Lead is part of the broader GBS Accounts Payables (AP) team and is responsible for managing the business processes associated with GRIR issue resolution processes for Frito-Lay US, PepsiCo Beverages Company, Quaker Foods, Sports and Fitness, and Corporate Horizontals divisions.The position has accountability to ensure all suppliers are paid accurately and timely. The role responsibilities include managing the end-to-end GRIR processes, leading GRIR governance processes, managing and monitoring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of GRIR resolution processes, drive processes/tower performance monitoring through various tools ensuring operational and compliance goals are met, and ensuring full compliance with SOX and Operational controls.The role is responsible for governance and oversight of the BPO provider, who performs the related services, ensuring appropriate performance monitoring and implementation of sustainable service delivery improvements to support GBS Control AP.The individual will interact with multiple stakeholders across PepsiCo and external providers with a heavy focus on accounts payables issue resolution, root cause analysis and process improvement.Responsibilities* Lead GRIR governance processes, ensuring operational and compliance goals are met. Lead and drive GRIR resolution (i.e., GR issues, IR processing) ensuring issues are resolved in a complete and timely manner in alignment operational objectives and SLAs.* Ensure compliance with GRIR SOX and Operational controls.* Ensure adherence and appropriate monitoring of GRIR activities performed by the GRIR tower team in Service Now* Perform root cause analysis and identifies unusual trends and recurring issues to proactively address process improvement and/or remediation needs. Leverages data mining and data analytics to enable GBS Control performance improvement.* Provides frequent status updates to key stakeholders and GBS Control senior leadership outlining progress of issue remediations and resolution.* Engage with key business partners (e.g., Supply Chain, Control, Finance, Sectors, Division) to drive support on GRIR issue resolution, strengthening network and communications and ensuring awareness on operational risks associated to unpaid goods and services.* Participate in Business Operational Reviews and Balance Sheet Review providing valuable and insightful information to the businesses supported by GBS Control AP* Partner with BPO provider to ensure alignment on goals and priorities, timely resolution of issues, and to understand challenges and proactively address them. Ensure BPO organization capacity and capabilities are adequate to run the AP issue resolution processes. Provide constructive feedback to the BPO organization to elevate performance.* Monitor leading indicators and conduct frequent operational reviews with BPO provider to ensure agreed upon SLAs and operational metrics are met. Develop, modify, and implement relevant scorecard metrics to ensure compliance with policies and controls.* Partner with BPO to implement continuous improvement initiatives, facilitating discussions with business partners to drive upstream changes. This role will interact and work closely with a business process outsourcing partner that is primarily located in Chennai, India.* Support business partners with the implementation of strategic initiatives such new system implementations, test case prep and execution, UAT coordination and implementation support, and data cleansing and conversionCompensation and Benefits:* The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,300 - $111,000 based on a full-time schedule.* Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.* Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.* Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.* In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.Qualifications* Minimum 4+ years of relevant business experience and practical exposure in some of the following roles: management accounting & controls, financial audit experience, evaluating business performance, service relationship management, payables management, or other related large group processing experience.* Possess a solid understanding of business practices, trends, and technologies, including SAP experience, related to company’s purchasing and payable processes and policies. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office, specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook* Capable of building collaborative relationships to work effectively with others. Taking on new and complex challenges with energy and enthusiasm, influencing and motivating others* Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities. Balancing sense of urgency with the need to deliver quality results, demonstrating perseverance in achieving complex or ambiguous goals. Adherence to processes, policies, and controls (Control Mindset).* Strong accounting and analytical skills. CPA and/or MBA preferred.* Outstanding problem structure and problem-solving skills. Capable of translating analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes.
