Siemens Configuration Manager for Industrial Automation Development (m/w/d) in Prague, Czech Republic

At our Siemens Advanta R&D Center we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0.

We would like to invite you to cooperate on the development of industrial automation products within established, stable, and successful development project „ET 200 IO´s“. As Configuration Manager you will be responsible for Continuous Integration infrastructure of development teams.

Your task will be:

  • user access & license management

  • configuration and maintenance of IT infrastructure of R&D teams located in Prague and in Brno (servers hosting Windows/Linux/VM)

  • configuration and maintenance source code versioning system (GIT)

  • configuration and maintenance Continuous Integration system (Azure DevOps)

  • support for building test automation on test racks with Integration Test

What we will appreciate from you:

  • responsible approach, precision

  • experience with source code versioning tools (GIT)

  • experience with Continuous Integration system (Azure DevOps)

  • knowledge of administration in Windows and Linux Servers

  • interest in industrial automation and embedded systems

  • advanced knowledge of English - daily communication, knowledge of German is advantage

  • knowledge of script programming – e.g., C#, python, powershell, perl, bash
