JPMorgan Chase Project Management Office Governance and Reporting in Plano, Texas

The Commercial Banking Finance & Business Management team is seeking a highly skilled and detail-focused project management professional who will assist teams by collecting, handling, interpreting and presenting insightful project/financial data. This is a high-impact opportunity on our Finance & Business Management team ensuring senior management across the Global Banking Technology have proper visibility into major initiatives, business metrics, financials and data insights to achieve their strategic objectives.

As a Project Management Office Governance and Reporting on the Commercial Bank Technology team, you will be working as part of a team responsible for analyzing, understanding, and presenting execution and delivery data to support the Global Banking Chief Information Officer. This includes conducting regular report outs on technology milestones, product status, risks and issues. You will work closely with multiple stakeholder groups across the firm to provide governance and execution reporting for Global Banking Technology's product delivery portfolio. These groups include Global Banking Tech Business Managers, Agility Leads and Project Managers, Global Technology Project Management Office and other groups as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the internal project management system by managing access, providing end-user training, creating projects as needed.

  • Work with Agility and Delivery leads to conduct delivery risk assessments when initiatives launch, throughout the lifecycle and when material changes to scope/costs occur.

  • Produce weekly milestone reports for stakeholders within/outside the Commercial bank which include recent, upcoming and at-risk deliveries.

  • Identify, track and report out on milestone replans for senior management while also capturing the root cause to determine potential trends impacting the portfolio.

  • Coordinate with Agility and Delivery Leads to produce monthly product one-pagers communicating overall status, accomplishments, milestone forecasting, risks/issues and dependencies.

  • Perform regular data quality and hygiene checks on the project portfolio to ensure a timely and accurate depiction of execution and delivery. Work with Agility and Delivery Leads to address findings / remediate issues.

  • Ensure adherence to technology investment governance, delivery management standards and underlying control procedures. Engage with firmwide governance forums and internal audit to provide artifacts demonstrating control procedure compliance.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3+ years of technology project/program management experience

  • Experience with firmwide project portfolio management systems

  • Exceptional data analysis skills to interpret raw information and then generate insightful summaries

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with excellent presentation, data visualization skills and the ability to tell a high-quality storyline.

  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies / standards. Good understanding of agile product development lifecycle

  • Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, leadership, and quantitative skills; aptitude to drive reporting and projects individually and with a team.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - must have the ability to build strong working relationships with the management team and team members within the business.

  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment while meeting objectives and deadlines.

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3+ years of related banking experience

  • Program Management Office experience as a Project Management Office Analyst or Project Management Office Administrator
