Temp or Temp to Perm Corporate Paralegal Job Available in Berkshire County Assignment length: July through at least mid-January, potential to be permanent Pay Range: \$25-32/hour depending on experience Schedule: Mon - Fri 8a-4:30 TEC is recruiting for a Corporate Paralegal for a well-respected local law firm to cover a medical leave. If the candidate is a great fit, there is potential to stay permanently. Important abilities include strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, excellent computer proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of lawyers and support professionals. Job Description: - Drafting, revising, and review of corporate transaction documents such as contracts, agreements, resolutions, and corporate filings - Filing of formation, dissolution, and maintenance documentation for various types of business entities - Management of corporate governance documents - Drafting of real estate purchase agreements, leases, deeds, mortgages, and easements and assisting in review of title searches - Support of due diligence efforts - Support of transactions and financings, including preparation for closings - Light administrative tasks, including follow up on outstanding documents to ensure task completion Minimum qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous office experience - Demonstrated skills and is well versed in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Preferred qualifications: - Prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or other position in a law office.
