Job Overview:

  • Oxford Life Insurance is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to be responsible for working with a team of Web Developers. In this challenging role you will be responsible for comprehensively overseeing projects, designing and developing web architecture, and guiding and mentoring a team. Ultimately, a top-notch Senior Full Stack Developer should have strong technical qualities, be able to provide guidance and support, and be highly accurate.

  • C# Developer with strong Experience designing and creating robust, reliable, vertically integrated software systems with a focus Microsoft stack development on .NET Core developing Web Services and APIs for production level applications, SaaS, or platforms. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

  • This position also requires a thorough understanding and familiarity with WCF, and web service development using the .Net platform with VB.Net, C# and XML., advanced experience with C# and VB.NET 4.0, XML, WCF, and business to business integration using SOAP or REST, as well as knowledge of Domain Driven Development, Service Oriented Architectures, and experience in backend service development.

Responsibilities

  • Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code

  • Support legacy applications and refactor them as necessary

  • Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards

  • Support test and deployment of new products and features

  • Participate in code reviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience can be substituted for education

  • Expertise in Object-Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema

  • Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies

  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

  • Experience unit testing

  • Experience with / understanding of modern Design Patterns

  • Front end experience in JavaScript, Angular, Typescript, React and/or Node

  • Azure Experience (Wiki, Pipelines, continuous integration)

  • Docker Kubernetes container experience

Languages & Technologies:

  • .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#,

  • ASP.NET WebApi, MVC, Web Forms

  • AJAX, SOAP, XML, JSON

  • SQL (T-SQL), HTML, CSS,

  • JavaScript & Common JavaScript Libraries: Angular, jQuery, pdf.js

  • Agile / Scrum, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery

  • OAuth Libraries for C# (implementation/deployment experience), IdentityServer4
