Job Description/Essential Functions:

The essential functions of this position are to respond to client related crisis situations, provide appropriate interventions, and follow-up as needed.

. To manage and supervise the daily operations of the site.

  • To implement rehabilitation service plans and recommend adjustments to established support systems.

  • To ensure that the clients receive the level of and/or have access to the service/support they need to live, work, develop and socialize within their local community.

  • To ensure compliance with all applicable contract regulations and Agency policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:

This position requires a B.A./B.S. degree preferred in Human Services/Social Sciences, Healthcare or a related field, and 1-2 years of experience in the MH/MR or related field, 2-4 years of supervisory experience or any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.

. Demonstrated crises intervention/prevention and deescalation skills required.

  • Very good communication and  organizational skills.

  • Computer skills and able to work with Microsoft Suite

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to participate in the analysis and identification of service delivery gaps, changes and problems, under the guidance of the Team Coordinator and implement appropriate action plans.

  • Ability to coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the residence, to ensure a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment.

  • Ability to work in conjunction with the Team Coordinator and assigned Human Resource Manager concerning recruitment, employment, training and performance of staff.

  • Ability to maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in the field through review of literature and periodicals and through contacts with other professionals.

  • Must be available for local travel and possess a valid driver's license.
