Engineer 3, Software Development & Engineering -- SDET

Contribute to the team responsible for designing, developing, delivering and supporting products and services for internet, TV and voice; architect, develop, and test new and upcoming Wi-Fi features that will be deployed in the Comcast footprint using Wireless/WiFi protocols; design, troubleshoot, and analyze backend network protocols and networking equipment; design, develop and troubleshoot RDKB Sprint Cycle and RDKB field deployment; perform Bash scripting; conduct system analysis and evaluation for products and cloud processes; design WiFi network security features; use Agile Development; work with architects and developers during the planning stages of new Wi-Fi features; plan and test strategies required to evaluate and test new Wi-Fi features; develop, configure, validate, and certify new features and SOC upgrades on CPE residential and commercial products; follow custom test plans and designs for functionality testing of router gateways; perform defect, software design validation, and improvisations for Comcast's home security wireless network integrations; and collaborate with development, automation and customer support teams to assist in identifying, reporting, and resolving field impacting defects.

*REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; and two (2) years of experience using Wireless/WiFi protocols; designing, troubleshooting, and analyzing backend network protocols and networking equipment; designing, developing and troubleshooting RDKB Sprint Cycle and RDKB field deployment; designing WiFi network security features; and using Agile Development.
