Aerotek Manufacturing Technician in PFLUGERVILLE, Texas

HIRING MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN

Weekly Pay- $20-$22/hr!

Description:

As a Machine Setter and Preventative Maintenance Technician (PM Tech), ensures that machines and equipment are in working condition for each production day. The Machine Setter specifically must become a subject matter expert on the theory of operation in which semi-automated machines are set up to run to the utmost efficiency in terms of maximum quality specs, uptime, and minimal downtime. As a PM Tech, you will perform repairs on assets & equipment, maintain a PM program, spare parts, and training of operators across the equipment stations at Austin. Basic job duties involve routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and machine setup.

This role is a Direct Report to the PM Tech Lead and Production Manager. Role provides support to Operations Shifts and works with those entities as a Team. At times, this role may provide support running assets in the event of personnel absences. This is a vital role in which you will develop into a Subject Matter Expert or multiple assets and groomed to become a PM Tech Lead and more.

Monday-Friday, 8-hour workdays, Overtime and additional days are dependent and if needed, will be coordinated with Production Manager and the Employee.

What we do: Manufacture of high volume/low mix parts requirements for the Analytical Business Unit- Separation Science. Potential is to excel initially in one department, develop, excel and to provide service to multiple departments in time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Have:

2+ years of operating a machine, basic knowledge of machine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting

• Work in a similar high precision industry where high quality and accuracy of part is required.

• Must have an understanding of tool and equipment setting and maintenance.

• Understand quick change over methods.

• Involvement in preventative maintenance work.

• Ability and knowledge with using basic hand tools- Allen wrenches, screw drivers, power drill.

• MS Office – basic knowledge on filling in MS Excel spreadsheets and MS Outlook for emails. Daily use of Excel with our quality data, measurements, and shift reports.

Nice to have:

Knowledge and ability to use HMI (Human-Machine Interface) screens to input programs, parameters (how we do our changeovers are a digital process in this sense).

Have a methodical approach to the processes and systems.

Semiconductor or cleanroom experience (a few people have come from Samsung though they are not a clean room)

Handling small microscopic materials

Experience Wool Packing

Experience Screen Printing
