Supervise and monitor the design, code, test, debug and document of complex software systems programming applications of junior software engineers. Review and oversee improvements in the design. Make complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations. Design and develop complex programs to fit specialized needs and configurations. Inform and guide other systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system, to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Supervise junior software engineers in the maintenance of program libraries and technical documentation. Plan, schedule, and implement software development. Consult with users concerning maintenance of the software system and supervise junior software engineers concerning maintenance of the software system. Consult with business analysts, project managers and other stake holders in the development of new software and supervise junior developers in their consultations with stakeholders.
