Michael’s House is the premier provider of integrated treatment for co-occurring addiction and mental health concerns, offering residential and outpatient services nationwide.

Michael’s House is looking for a dynamic and talented part-time Virtual IOP Therapist. The therapist will facilitate groups, individual sessions, and complete assessments with addiction, mental health issues, and co-occurring diagnoses. The program offers an integrative and holistic approach with group and individual therapy and medication management that can be an exciting opportunity to learn and implement various client centered therapeutic modalities to best work with individuals in recovery. Our clinicians are passionate and dedicated to offering compassionate care. This is an hourly position, 16 to 20 hours per week. 3 hours per day of group VIOP programming, plus 1 to 2 hours per day individual therapy and admissions work (Monday – Thursday).

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Conducts virtual individual and group therapy sessions with Intensive Outpatient Program IOP clients.• Responsible for updating referents.• Participates in weekly staff meetings regarding each client and gives recommendations.• Conducts aftercare groups once per week • Performs all other duties as required or assigned.

Education and Experience• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field required. • Licensure preferred.• Minimum 3-5 years experience in mental health or substance abuse field required.
