Environmental Project Manager

Location: Orange, CA

Responsibilities: As an Environmental Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our mission forward. Your responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing complex environmental and engineering projects related to subsurface contamination.

  • Implementing Phase I & II site assessments, including fieldwork and sampling activities.

  • Conducting feasibility testing and preparing remedial action plans.

  • Managing and interpreting laboratory data and investigation-related information.

  • Coordinating extensively with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.

  • Ensuring projects stay within scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Demonstrating competency in field supervision, technical knowledge, and project management.

  • Supporting safe work practices in a high-pressure environment.

  • Performing environmental due diligence and compliance assessments.

  • Managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

  • Providing clients with regulatory guidance and maintaining compliance.

  • Collaborating with diverse personalities and communicating effectively.

  • Mentoring junior staff members and participating in professional organizations.

  • Identifying new clients and contributing to business development efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related discipline.

  • 5 to 15 years of experience in environmental consulting.

  • Solid knowledge of technical expertise.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Self-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

  • Flexibility to travel as needed.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Local candidates preferred.
