Job Description

Insight global is looking for a SR SDET to join a growing team at a large FinTec company in Omaha, NE. This role is in support of a modernization effort for tax payment applications from on prem to the azure cloud. Daily responsibilities include developing test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects of varying size, performing testing on various software and reporting systems and reviewing user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable. This position offers the opportunity for upward mobility and is onsite 5 days a week in Omaha, NE

Skills and Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Sr SDET Engineer in an agile environment.

Proficiency in JavaScript for test automation and scripting.

Strong experience with Cucumber for creating BDD test scenarios and step definitions.

Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation frameworks for web application testing.

Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Experience with other automation and performance tools/frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Gatling, and or Jmeter.

Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. null
