Persys Engineering  Production Manager - Norwalk, OH Job Description * *Company Overview: Persys is a global company with over 30 years of experience in providing precision cleaning, decontamination processes, parts refurbishment, and engineering services for the semiconductor and solar industries. This position is for the plant manager of our up-and-coming Norwalk, OH operation.

Plant Manager Job Duties:

  1. Operations Oversight: As a Production Manager, you will oversee managing the entire production process, from raw materials to finished products. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Oversee the efficient functioning of the production floor.
  2. Maximize Efficiency: Your goal is to increase production capacity, flexibility, and quality while minimizing unnecessary costs.
  3. Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills are essential. You will lead by example, working hard and being hands-on. You will foster a positive work environment and motivate your team.
  4. New Facility Setup: In your first year, you will play a crucial role in establishing a new facility from scratch. This involves managing suppliers, subcontractors, and supporting business permits. Expect to be hands-on and handle maintenance tasks as well.

Responsibilities: As the Production Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing plant. Your primary responsibilities include:

  1. Optimizing Operations: Plan, organize, direct, and run day-to-day operations to meet and exceed customer expectations. Increase production capacity, assets flexibility, and maintain quality standards while minimizing unnecessary costs.

  2. Production and Quality: Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to achieve optimal results.

  3. People Management: Recruit, manage, and develop plant staff. Foster a trusting relationship with the team, and address employee issues or grievances.

  4. Safety: Commit to plant safety procedures.

  5. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas of waste and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.

Compensation & Benefits: • Pay range: $35 - $40 per hour -- Depends on experience • Medical, Vacation, Sick pay, 401K
