Business Development Manager

Sedgwick is now seeking a proactive, driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team.

What are my accountabilities?

  • Actively develops new business opportunities through your own network and relationships

  • Work with sales BDM’s to present solutions to potential customers

  • Scope out and write and sign off on customer proposals and solution design

  • Identify marketing opportunities with the marketing department for existing customer communications and retention and market opportunities

  • Writes 1 -2 blogs on service area for posting to LinkedIn

  • Identifies some industry seminars / conferences to attend to build new relationships with prospects

  • Identify opportunities to enhance our product suite, and work with the team to implement new solutions

About you :

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, preferably with a track record in health and safety and/or HR.

  • Extensive experience and expertise in early intervention injury management and workers compensation claims management services.

  • Proficiency in CRMs and familiarity with email systems.

  • Demonstrated capability to initiate and sustain robust relationships.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, marketing, or related field.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
