The Role: Scrum Master

This is an opportunity to join our highly impactful ‘Delivery Management’ team as a Scrum Master and work closely with business and technology teams to define and deliver solutions in a highly collaborative, agile environment, specifically in our Data Distribution product line. Data Delivery team supplies services to ease distribution of structured and unstructured data from producers to consumers.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a servant leader to agile teams, creating agile mindsets and coaching the development teams to maximize their performance to deliver customer value and embrace continuous improvement.

  • Work closely with product owners, technical leads, and dev teams to refine and create a shared understanding of business needs and expectations, create work items that are concise, clear and well defined that are prioritized for planning and execution.

  • Enable teams to understand business needs, plan and build solutions, track progress, find and manage risks, remove impediments, and resolve dependencies within and across teams.

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and practices including feature refinement, sprint backlog refinements, daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review and retrospective.

  • Establish and keep open and clear lines of communication to ease transparency and collaboration. Work with peer scrum masters, delivery managers and agile coaches to maximize the performance of teams and improve the effectiveness of agile practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Engineering or equivalent graduation degree

  • Good understanding of agile software development

  • Five or more years of experience in the role of scrum master

  • General conceptual understanding of financial domain

  • Excellent communication skills and people motivation skills

  • Good at project and delivery management
