Salary: $52,753 - $63,167Job Title: Research TechnicianGrade: 14The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Research Technician position. The Research Technician will support the development of a digital implementation platform and a digital training platform to support activities of the Mental Wellness Equity Center. The Mental Wellness Equity Center has launched ENGAGE, a program to train lay providers to conduct mental health screenings and deliver brief evidence-based interventions. The screening and intervention activities of the lay providers will be guided by a digital platform that is in the final stages of development. The Research Technician will support the remaining platform development work, including liaising with the external platform developer and organizing the incorporation of feedback from the Equity Center team and its community partners. Concurrently, the Equity Center is also developing an asynchronous online learning platform to support the training activities needed for ENGAGE. The Research Technician will also provide support for the development and adaptation of this training platform.Duties and Responsibilities:1)Liaise between intervention platform developers and the Equity Center, intervention experts, and community partners.2)Support the tailoring of interventions for the digital intervention platform.3)Incorporate ENGAGE assessments into the intervention platform.4)Facilitate working groups with stakeholders to gather their feedback on the platform.5)Organize and communicate working group feedback to external developer.6)Schedule, organize, and take notes at technology-related meetings. 7)Organize piloting logistics to roll out the platform with community partners.8)Support and help lead training workshops for the digital platform.9)Support technology-related aspects of the development of the digital training platformMinimum Qualifications:-Bachelor’s degree in a public health or a mental health related discipline.Preferred Qualifications:-Fluency in at least one foreign language (Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, etc.). -Experience working in mental health-related settings.Work Location: 1051 Riverside Drive, New York, NY 10032To Apply: Submit an application through our website at https://nyspi.applicantpro.com/jobs/.Please note- only applications submitted through our website will be considered.The Research Foundation is a private not-for-profit corporation and is not an agency or instrumentality of the State of New York.
