Robert Half HR Benefits Specialist/Benefits Admin in New Brunswick, New Jersey

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Benefits Specialist/Benefits Administrator to join our clients' team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing excellent customer service to employees regarding their benefits inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other fringe benefits.

  • Coordinate the enrollment, termination, and changes to benefits plans for employees.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related questions and issues.

  • Conduct benefits orientations for new hires and facilitate open enrollment processes.

  • Collaborate with insurance brokers, benefit vendors, and HR team to evaluate, recommend, and implement new benefits offerings.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits, including ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or a similar HR role.

  • Thorough understanding of employee benefits programs, regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
