North Central College, IL Lecturer in Communication - Public Speaking in Naperville, Illinois

Position Summary:

The Department of Communication and Media Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a non tenure-track position in Communication – Public Speaking, to begin Fall 2024.

Applicants for this position must hold a Master’s degree in Communication, Rhetoric or a related field and have significant experience teaching public speaking at the college level. The successful candidate will teach three sections of public speaking per semester. Interest in serving as an assistant coach for North Central’s award-winning speech team would be a plus. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students and a commitment to departmental service.
