What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities of the Commercial Construction Estimator:
-Work with Project Management, fellow estimators, subcontractors, and clients to grow business.
-Meet with potential customers to determine the scope of work.
-Timely communication with current and potential customers regarding project status operations.
-Conceptual Estimating experience is a plus.
-Interpret plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare and organize pre-bid packages.
-Provide take-off calculations and develop estimates for the entire scope of projects.
-Prepare hard bid, negotiated and design/build project estimates.
-Research sub-contractors and suppliers to be as competitive as possible in preliminary budgets.
-Prepare subcontracts scope, change orders, submittals and RFI's.
What You Need for this Position
5+ years of Commercial Construction experience
5+ years of Commercial Estimator experience
3+ years of Ground-up, TI, Retail, Restaurant, Grocery Stores, or Hospital Project experience
Leadership/Management experience preferred
Knowledge of ProCore preferred or relative Estimating Software experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Bachelors Degree preferred or relative working experience required.
Book of Business - huge plus
Conceptual Estimating experience is a plus.
Start-Up background - huge plus
