Norshield Security Products LLC seeks a skilled Project Engineer to handle multiple projects, and cover all submittal drawings, details, project-related coordination, BOM creation, part creation in ERP system and follow-up from project inception to completion. Desired candidate is a talented individual with the ability to work both independently in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a team.

Job Requirements:

• Fully proficient in SolidWorks
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Release 2014 or later) with practical drafting experience
• Comfort working within an ERP system
• Ability to read and understand Architectural plans, create construction documents, and interpret field surveys
• Comfortable interacting with: high-end clients and designers, site superintendents, general contractors, and subcontractors
• Willingness and ability to work overtime, when needed, to adhere to accelerated deadlines
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills, strong organization, cooperative attitude, and keen attention to detail and follow-up
• Experience with DriveWorks, or VBA programming, a plus

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

• Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years job experience0
• Preference to BS in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Building Science or Associate Degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting Technology
• Successfully pass drug test (first day of employment)
