Plan and execute data migration and backup strategies for NetApp storage and AWS. Exposure to ServiceNow and JIRA would be desirable Respond to and resolve technical issues, incidents, and outages in a timely manner. Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge base. Perform moderately difficult and independent assignments in troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, and problem resolution for one or more technologies. Implementing and configuring storage systems, including storage area networks (SANs), network-attached storage (NAS), and cloud storage solutions. Actively collaborate with fellow members of the team and contractors/vendors on bridge calls to prevent or resolve incidents/problems in an expeditious manner. Monitoring storage performance and capacity, and optimizing storage resources for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. Troubleshooting storage-related issues and performing root cause analysis. Participate and provide input in the continual refinement of processes, policies, and best practices to ensure the highest possible performance and availability of technologies. Create, maintain, and update documentation including troubleshooting guides, procedure/support manuals, and communication plans. Developing and implementing data backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data availability and integrity. Contribute towards the development of operational reporting including daily health check reports, capacity/performance reports, and incident/problem reports. Continuous Improvement Work with application teams to determine the impact of application changes to the monitors configured for an application and determine if any changes or additions are required. Assist teams in identifying monitoring requirements and implementing the appropriate monitors to achieve the desired results. Use experience, expertise and data analysis to collaborate with manager and team members in the identification of corrective action to increase efficiency, improve performance and meet or exceed targets. Ideal background: Solid understanding of SAN & NAS concepts, and protocols along with operations knowledge of storage environment. Experience in Configuring and troubleshooting Fabric Environments constituting Brocade/ Connectrix/ Cisco switches. Certification on PURE technology is an added advantage. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience of handling Infrastructure-storage especially Pure Storage & experience in Cloud space specifically AWS including experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Mandatory Skills: SAN Administration & Zoning Proficiency in managing PURE Storage: Hands-on experience. Hands-on Proficiency in AWS Storage Services, i.e. S3, FSxN, EFS, EBS Hands-on/Basic experience in managing Windows, and Linux systems. Professional experience in administration, configuration & operational support of Storage Platforms (NetApp, ECS etc.) Preferred Skills: Exposure or experience with Terraform or Python or Ansible is highly desirable. Experience with Bitbucket & Jenkins CI-CD pipeline framework is highly desirable. Should have fundamental exposure to IT environments governed by ITIL framework. Change, Incident (RCA) & Problem Management-related activities Solid understanding of monitoring tools and monitoring techn ques with focus on problem determination and prevention. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively. Detailed Qualifications: Designing, implementing, and managing storage environment. Proven experience in PURE Storage & NetApp storage for administration, including configuration, maintenance, monitor storage systems & perform ONTAP GUI/CLI operations, installation, upgrade, backup/restore, and file system configuration for CIFS/NFS/iSCSI. Proven knowledge of Cloud Storage Experience with Brocade/Connectix Switches Strong Knowledge on Performance analysis factors of Pure Storage Arrays, PURE CLI Commands.
