We are in search of a talented DevOps Engineer to bolster our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with devising and applying automation strategies to enhance the efficiency of software development operations. If you have a solid foundation in software engineering, systems management, and cloud computing, this role will enable you to utilize these skills while improving the organizations CI/CD channels.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in our client's beautiful and modern office outside of downtown Minneapolis, MN. They are proud to offer a full suite of comprehensive benefits and the ability to earn an annual bonus based on company performance.

Primary Duties:

• Develop, introduce and manage automation equipment and frameworks to boost efficiency in our continuous integration and deployment workflows.

• Cooperate with the development and operations units to augment system dependability, scalability, and performance.

• Establish monitoring and logging solutions to improve system transparency and preemptively resolve problems.

• Govern cloud infrastructure using tools primarily in an AWS setting.

• Guarantee adherence to security best practices in all infrastructure and deployment procedures.

• Participate in an on-call schedule to offer support for production-related problems.

• Guide less experienced team members and impart expertise in DevOps methodologies.

Tech Stack/Skills:

• Developer-level GitHub, including release management, branch management, tagging, and API automation

• GitOps/DevOps workflow

• Experience with at least one of these languages: Python, Terraform HCL, Golang, Powershell, Bash

• CI/CD Tools: CircleCI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Codeship, etc.

• Agile team

• Experience with building Everything/Infrastructure-as-Code on AWS preferred (Azure or GCP acceptable)

  Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on AWS cloud native environments a plus

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or additional equivalent work experience

• Team player and ability to reach across all areas of the business to collaborate and bridge gaps

• Strong experience in scripting & programming languages, particularly Python, Powershell, and Terraform

• Experience with containerization (Docker, etc.) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, etc.)

• In-depth, working knowledge of cloud platforms and services, AWS preferred
