Job Posting Title Quality Engineer /QSA Job Description Summary As a Quality Engineer at AAM, you will report to the Manager of Quality. and will facilitate the maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management Systems and support the IATF/ISO System Requirements. This position is also responsible for the management of Supplier Quality Activities. Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of our quality management systems. Develop, implement, and maintain our quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards. Create and manage documentation relating to quality systems, including procedures, work instructions, and training materials. Train employees on quality assurance processes and standards to ensure consistent understanding and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve quality-related issues. Analyze and interpret quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in quality regulations to ensure ongoing compliance. Audit raw material suppliers to assess quality systems compliance. All other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Education Bachelor of Science in Quality Engineering, or related degree. Or five to seven years of experience and education combined. Proven experience in quality assurance, quality management, or a similar role Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards, and regulations (e.g., AS9100, IATF16949, ISO 9001, ISO14001) Strong understanding of Core Tools and Problem Solving Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in process improvement initiatives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
