BAE Systems Process Engineer in Merrimack, New Hampshire

Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for a Process Engineer to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at their Merrimack, New Hampshire facility. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and being able to adapt to a changing production factory environment brings with it an exciting opportunity to influence the successful execution of production goals and achieving operational excellence.

In this role, the Process Engineer will be responsible for providing manufacturing support, process development, and continuous improvement for the Advanced Composites Manufacturing factory. The Process Engineer II will utilize hands-on problem solving, data analyses and application of engineering, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles to improve assembly processes, product flow, product yields and reducing cost.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, or equivalent

  • 2 Years Engineering/Manufacturing experience

  • Prior experience in composite manufacturing a plus

  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Lean and Six Sigma Principles

  • PPV FAI

  • Prior experience in DoD manufacturing environment

  • Secret Clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $75570 - $128480

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
